Painting Macarons with Liquid Watercolor: Why I’m Hooked Again
I guess I am still excited about macarons because I have painted another set. Using my limited palette and PH. Martin liquid watercolor.
Why was I excited to use liquid watercolor again? It is just so effortless to get a highly pigmented color. You can mix pretty cool shades without even introducing water to it yet. Just drop colors together and see what happens.
Literally, you might need only a drop of each color to finish a small painting lol. That tiny bottle goes a long way.
Either way, that was super fun. An original painting, start to finish, and I enjoyed every bit of it.
I might add food illustration as a second love next to botanical art! Because why choose? Flowers are beautiful, but macarons make me happy too.
