Watercolor Macarons with a Limited Palette: Why I Love PH. Martin Hydrus set
Okay, I’ll admit it – I didn’t use every color in my collection for this one. Instead, I grabbed just a few bottles of my PH Martin liquid watercolors and mixed my way into this whole box of macarons. It’s honestly wild what you can mix up when you keep things simple. I just used a few colors straight from the dropper bottles, and the pigment is so rich that a little goes a long way. You get these incredibly bold, clear colors without any chalkiness. For a limited palette study like this, it was perfect—mixing was a dream, and the colors stayed bright and true. No wonder people love this stuff.
